Information We Collect
What you give us:
- Username, email address, driver class, and profile photo when you register
- Vehicle details, modifications, and photos you add to your garage
- Rally routes, stops, and descriptions you create
- Messages sent through Squad Radio channels
What we collect automatically:
- GPS coordinates during active navigation and when location sharing is enabled in a rally
- App usage data and session duration
- Device type, OS version, and app version

How We Use It
- To power navigation, rally coordination, live tracking, and community features
- To improve the app and fix issues
- To send rally notifications and launch updates you've opted into

Location Data
Location is used for navigation, showing your position to rally members during events, and calculating trip stats.
We do not sell your location data, track you when the app is closed, or share precise location with advertisers.
You can disable location at any time in your device Settings.

Data Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share with:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Google — Maps, Places API, and routing
- Spotify — playlist search and music features
- Law enforcement — only if required by law

Data Retention
- Account data is kept until you delete your account
- Location session data is not permanently stored
- Chat messages are retained to maintain conversation history

Age Requirement
Velocity is not for users under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you think a minor has an account, contact us immediately.
