BUILT SOLO. DRIVEN BY THE ROAD.

I'm Waleed A. Rahman. I built Velocity — turn-by-turn navigation for driving enthusiasts, with rally routes, live convoy tracking, squad radio, and a garage that remembers your build. iOS and Android. One person, no shortcuts.

THE GROUP CHAT
WAS NEVER GOING
TO CUT IT.

Group drives fall apart the same way every time. A text thread with fifteen people in it. A dropped pin nobody can find on their phone at a gas station. Someone falls behind at a light and the whole convoy doesn't notice for ten miles. Consumer navigation apps were built to get one person from A to B — they were never built to keep a group of drivers moving together, in real time, on a route someone actually planned.

That gap never closed, so I built Velocity to close it. It's turn-by-turn navigation made specifically for driving enthusiasts: rally routes with waypoints instead of a single pin, live position tracking for every car in the group, a private radio channel so nobody's texting at highway speed, and a garage that keeps a real record of what you're driving and why.

Not a social app with a map bolted on. Not a navigation app with a forum added later. Purpose-built for the drive, from the first line of code. I built it solo, and I'm building it for the community that's been missing it — car meets, rally crews, anyone who cares about the road more than the destination.

FOUR RULES,
NO EXCEPTIONS.

01
Solo, on purpose
Every decision moves at the speed of one person shipping — not a committee arguing about a roadmap. That's a tradeoff, and I take it on purpose.
02
Built for the drive, not the demo
If it doesn't work at highway speed with one hand on the wheel, it doesn't ship. This app has to earn its place on your dash, not just your home screen.
03
No paywalls on the basics
Navigation, live tracking, and squad radio are the point of the app — not the upsell. The core experience stays free.
04
The community drives the roadmap
Features exist because drivers asked for them, not because they look good on a slide. If you're using Velocity, you're part of what gets built next.

LET'S TALK.

Driver with feedback, a bug to report, or a build to show off? Press, partnership, or just curious how this thing works? Email goes straight to me — no support queue in between.
